Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising’s office in Bangkok had just been renovated to enhance overall social atmosphere while encouraging the staffs’ imagination and creativity. Transformed to be exciting and innovative workplace which is divided into two zones, managing and creative zone, Supermachine Studio used daily life objects as its inspiring schematic ideas.
The Creative Zone comes with bright and open atmosphere so people can broadly communicate, get themselves inspired and share ideas to each other. Meanwhile, the Managing Zone comes with darker tone atmosphere combined with some colorful decorations to show some excitement. Between the zones, there lies bicycle wall and playful trophy wall with lovely pink colored walls creating liveliness.
Another prominent item is counter table on front lobby which functions as moving counter or bar and typical front desk. And to twisting the identities of daily life objects, the architect created meeting pods which imitate enlarged armchair and train seating. Inside the office, all of the staffs can freely interact while benefiting the interior such as shelving, lighting, pins and holes. Moreover, there is also a bar as social gathering space that can be extended into daybed, mini bar or kitchen completed with storage space. The house’s overall design focuses solely on the effort to transform familiar to functional and innovative use.
